Quick answer
If not redeemed earlier, the servant and his children went free at the Jubilee. The Jubilee guaranteed eventual liberation for all.
Overview
Even if no kinsman redeemed him and he could not buy himself back, the Jubilee secured his release along with his family. No bondage could outlast that appointed year. The Jubilee thus stands as a great symbol of release and restoration, fulfilled when Christ proclaims liberty to the captives (Luke 4:18-21).
