• Gen 22:6Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son. He took in his hand the fire and the knife. They both went together.
• Gen 22:7Isaac spoke to Abraham his father, and said, “My father?” He said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
• Gen 22:8Abraham said, “God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son.” So they both went together.
• Gen 22:9They came to the place which God had told him of. Abraham built the altar there, and laid the wood in order, bound Isaac his son, and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

• Gen 24:7Yahweh, the God of heaven, who took me from my father’s house, and from the land of my birth, who spoke to me, and who swore to me, saying, ‘I will give this land to your offspring. He will send his angel before you, and you shall take a wife for my son from there.
• Gen 24:8If the woman isn’t willing to follow you, then you shall be clear from this oath to me. Only you shall not bring my son there again.”
• Gen 24:15Before he had finished speaking, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel the son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham’s brother, with her pitcher on her shoulder.
• Gen 24:24She said to him, “I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor.”
• Gen 24:36Sarah, my master’s wife, bore a son to my master when she was old. He has given all that he has to him.
• Gen 24:37My master made me swear, saying, ‘You shall not take a wife for my son from the daughters of the Canaanites, in whose land I live,
• Gen 24:38but you shall go to my father’s house, and to my relatives, and take a wife for my son.’
• Gen 24:40He said to me, ‘Yahweh, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you, and prosper your way. You shall take a wife for my son from my relatives, and of my father’s house.
• Gen 24:44and she will tell me, “Drink, and I will also draw for your camels,” — let her be the woman whom Yahweh has appointed for my master’s son.’
• Gen 24:47I asked her, and said, ‘Whose daughter are you?’ She said, ‘The daughter of Bethuel, Nahor’s son, whom Milcah bore to him.’ I put the ring on her nose, and the bracelets on her hands.
• Gen 24:48I bowed my head, and worshiped Yahweh, and blessed Yahweh, the God of my master Abraham, who had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter for his son.
• Gen 24:51Behold, Rebekah is before you. Take her, and go, and let her be your master’s son’s wife, as Yahweh has spoken.”
• Gen 25:3Jokshan became the father of Sheba, and Dedan. The sons of Dedan were Asshurim, Letushim, and Leummim.

• Gen 34:5Now Jacob heard that he had defiled Dinah, his daughter; and his sons were with his livestock in the field. Jacob held his peace until they came.
• Gen 34:7The sons of Jacob came in from the field when they heard it. The men were grieved, and they were very angry, because he had done folly in Israel in lying with Jacob’s daughter; a thing ought not to be done.
• Gen 34:8Hamor talked with them, saying, “The soul of my son, Shechem, longs for your daughter. Please give her to him as a wife.
• Gen 34:13The sons of Jacob answered Shechem and Hamor his father with deceit, and spoke, because he had defiled Dinah their sister,
• Gen 34:18Their words pleased Hamor and Shechem, Hamor’s son.
• Gen 34:20Hamor and Shechem, his son, came to the gate of their city, and talked with the men of their city, saying,
• Gen 34:24All who went out of the gate of his city listened to Hamor, and to Shechem his son; and every male was circumcised, all who went out of the gate of his city.
• Gen 34:25On the third day, when they were sore, two of Jacob’s sons, Simeon and Levi, Dinah’s brothers, each took his sword, came upon the unsuspecting city, and killed all the males.
• Gen 34:26They killed Hamor and Shechem, his son, with the edge of the sword, and took Dinah out of Shechem’s house, and went away.
• Gen 34:27Jacob’s sons came on the dead, and plundered the city, because they had defiled their sister.
• Gen 35:5They traveled, and a terror of God was on the cities that were around them, and they didn’t pursue the sons of Jacob.
• Gen 35:17When she was in hard labor, the midwife said to her, “Don’t be afraid, for now you will have another son.”
• Gen 35:22While Israel lived in that land, Reuben went and lay with Bilhah, his father’s concubine, and Israel heard of it. Now the sons of Jacob were twelve.

• Gen 36:12Timna was concubine to Eliphaz, Esau’s son; and she bore to Eliphaz Amalek. These are the sons of Adah, Esau’s wife.
• Gen 36:13These are the sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah. These were the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.
• Gen 36:14These were the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, the daughter of Zibeon, Esau’s wife: she bore to Esau Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
• Gen 36:15These are the chiefs of the sons of Esau: the sons of Eliphaz the firstborn of Esau: chief Teman, chief Omar, chief Zepho, chief Kenaz,
• Gen 36:16chief Korah, chief Gatam, chief Amalek: these are the chiefs who came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Adah.
• Gen 36:17These are the sons of Reuel, Esau’s son: chief Nahath, chief Zerah, chief Shammah, chief Mizzah: these are the chiefs who came of Reuel in the land of Edom; these are the sons of Basemath, Esau’s wife.
• Gen 36:18These are the sons of Oholibamah, Esau’s wife: chief Jeush, chief Jalam, chief Korah: these are the chiefs who came of Oholibamah the daughter of Anah, Esau’s wife.
• Gen 36:19These are the sons of Esau (that is, Edom), and these are their chiefs.
• Gen 36:20These are the sons of Seir the Horite, the inhabitants of the land: Lotan, Shobal, Zibeon, Anah,
• Gen 36:21Dishon, Ezer, and Dishan. These are the chiefs who came of the Horites, the children of Seir in the land of Edom.
• Gen 36:22The children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. Lotan’s sister was Timna.
• Gen 36:23These are the children of Shobal: Alvan, Manahath, Ebal, Shepho, and Onam.
• Gen 36:24These are the children of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah. This is Anah who found the hot springs in the wilderness, as he fed the donkeys of Zibeon his father.
• Gen 36:25These are the children of Anah: Dishon and Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah.
• Gen 36:26These are the children of Dishon: Hemdan, Eshban, Ithran, and Cheran.
• Gen 36:27These are the children of Ezer: Bilhan, Zaavan, and Akan.
• Gen 36:28These are the children of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
• Gen 36:31These are the kings who reigned in the land of Edom, before any king reigned over the children of Israel.
• Gen 36:32Bela, the son of Beor, reigned in Edom. The name of his city was Dinhabah.
• Gen 36:33Bela died, and Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, reigned in his place.
• Gen 36:35Husham died, and Hadad, the son of Bedad, who struck Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his place. The name of his city was Avith.
• Gen 36:38Shaul died, and Baal Hanan, the son of Achbor reigned in his place.
• Gen 36:39Baal Hanan the son of Achbor died, and Hadar reigned in his place. The name of his city was Pau. His wife’s name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
• Gen 37:2This is the history of the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brothers. He was a boy with the sons of Bilhah and Zilpah, his father’s wives. Joseph brought an evil report of them to their father.
• Gen 37:3Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age, and he made him a coat of many colors.
• Gen 37:32They took the coat of many colors, and they brought it to their father, and said, “We have found this. Examine it, now, whether it is your son’s coat or not.”
• Gen 37:33He recognized it, and said, “It is my son’s coat. An evil animal has devoured him. Joseph is without doubt torn in pieces.”
• Gen 37:34Jacob tore his clothes, and put sackcloth on his waist, and mourned for his son many days.
• Gen 37:35All his sons and all his daughters rose up to comfort him, but he refused to be comforted. He said, “For I will go down to Sheol to my son mourning.” His father wept for him.
• Gen 38:3She conceived, and bore a son; and he named him Er.
• Gen 38:4She conceived again, and bore a son; and she named him Onan.
• Gen 38:5She yet again bore a son, and named him Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bore him.
• Gen 38:11Then Judah said to Tamar, his daughter-in-law, “Remain a widow in your father’s house, until Shelah, my son, is grown up”; for he said, “Lest he also die, like his brothers.” Tamar went and lived in her father’s house.
