Quick answer

These powers war against the Lamb, but the Lamb conquers them as Lord of lords and King of kings. His people share His victory as the called, chosen, and faithful.

Overview

The crucified and risen Lamb is the supreme sovereign, so the outcome of the conflict is never in doubt. His titles, later given to the rider on the white horse, declare His absolute lordship. Believers triumph not by their own might but by belonging to Him, marked by God's effectual call, election, and persevering faithfulness.
