God walks with Adam in the garden; he tents among Israel in the tabernacle; his glory fills the temple; then "the Word became flesh and dwelt among us" — Immanuel, God with us; he pours out his Spirit to indwell his people; and the Bible closes with the promise, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with man."- 1
Walking in the garden
Genesis 3:8When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord God among the trees.

A tent among them
Exodus 25:8“Have the people of Israel build me a holy sanctuary so I can live among them.
"Let them make me a sanctuary, that I may dwell in their midst." - 3
Glory fills the temple
1 Kings 8:11The priests could not continue their service because of the cloud, for the glorious presence of the Lord filled the Temple of the Lord.
God's presence fills Solomon's temple. - 4
Immanuel
Matthew 1:23“Look! The virgin will conceive a child! She will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us.’”

The Word dwelt among us
John 1:14So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness. And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

The Spirit poured out
Acts 2:4And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Revelation 21:3I heard a loud shout from the throne, saying, “Look, God’s home is now among his people! He will live with them, and they will be his people. God himself will be with them.
