Overview
The Lord sets before Judah a conditional promise: faithful Sabbath-keeping will bring lasting good to the city. This reflects the covenant pattern of blessing for obedience and judgment for rebellion (Deuteronomy 28). It teaches that genuine trust in God shows itself in concrete, daily obedience rather than mere outward religion.
