Quick answer

The LORD declares that He alone is God and besides Him there is no savior. It affirms that salvation belongs to God alone.

Overview

God states emphatically that no other being can deliver. Salvation is not shared with idols or nations but is His exclusive work. This truth that there is no savior besides the LORD is gloriously displayed in Jesus, in whom God Himself comes to save.

Christ at the center

Isaiah sees him most clearly: the virgin's son Immanuel, the child on David's throne, the shoot from Jesse, the light to the nations, and above all the Suffering Servant pierced for our transgressions (ch. 53).

How Isaiah 43:11 points to him is part of the one story that runs through all Scripture — meet Jesus at the heart of the web, or follow a trail that traces him from Genesis to Revelation.
