Quick answer

The angels tell Lot to gather all his family and bring them out of the city.

Overview

God's mercy extends not only to Lot but to all who belong to him who will heed the warning. The command shows that judgment will be preceded by an opportunity for rescue. It illustrates God's pattern of delivering his people before he pours out wrath.
