Quick answer

God declares Himself for the land: He will turn to it so it is tilled and sown again. The Lord's favor brings cultivation and life.

Overview

'I am for you' is a word of grace, the opposite of 'I am against you' spoken to Edom (35:3). God's turning toward the land ensures it will be farmed and planted once more. His personal favor is the source of all renewal. This gracious 'for you' captures the gospel posture of God toward those He redeems (Rom. 8:31).
