- John 11:54Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews, but departed from there into the country near the wilderness, to a city called Ephraim. He stayed there with his disciples.

- John 12:29The multitude therefore, who stood by and heard it, said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to him.”
- John 12:35Jesus therefore said to them, “Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn’t overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn’t know where he is going.

- John 13:30Therefore having received that morsel, he went out immediately. It was night.
- John 13:31When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now the Son of Man has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him.
- John 16:17Some of his disciples therefore said to one another, “What is this that he says to us, ‘A little while, and you won’t see me, and again a little while, and you will see me;’ and, ‘Because I go to the Father’?”

- John 18:3Judas then, having taken a detachment of soldiers and officers from the chief priests and the Pharisees, came there with lanterns, torches, and weapons.
- John 18:4Jesus therefore, knowing all the things that were happening to him, went out, and said to them, “Who are you looking for?”
- John 18:6When therefore he said to them, “I am he,” they went backward, and fell to the ground.
- John 18:7Again therefore he asked them, “Who are you looking for?” They said, “Jesus of Nazareth.”
- John 18:8Jesus answered, “I told you that I am he. If therefore you seek me, let these go their way,”
- John 18:10Simon Peter therefore, having a sword, drew it, and struck the high priest’s servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant’s name was Malchus.
