Two men, two trees, two destinies for the human race.
The first Adam is made in God's image and falls, plunging humanity into sin and death. The last Adam — Jesus — obeys where Adam failed, and by his resurrection becomes a life-giving spirit. As in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.- 1
The first Adam, in God's image
Genesis 1:27So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

The fall
Genesis 3:6So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.
Adam's disobedience brings sin and death. - 3
One man's obedience
Romans 5:19For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
"By the one man's obedience the many will be made righteous." - 4
In Christ all made alive
1 Corinthians 15:22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive.
"As in Adam all die, so in Christ shall all be made alive." - 5
A life-giving spirit
1 Corinthians 15:45And so it is written, “The first man Adam became a living being.” The last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
"The last Adam became a life-giving spirit."
