Quick answer

Every creature in all creation praises both the One on the throne and the Lamb together. Universal worship is offered jointly to God and to Christ, confirming the Lamb's full deity.

Overview

The chorus expands from angels to literally every created thing, picturing the ultimate goal of all creation: the glory of God and the Lamb. By giving identical praise to the Father and the Lamb, Scripture affirms that Christ shares the Father's divine honor. This anticipates the final renewal when all creation will worship God rightly.

Christ at the center

Revelation ends the story with the slain-yet-standing Lamb who is worthy, the Lion of Judah, the Alpha and Omega, the returning King who makes all things new and dwells with his people forever.

How Revelation 5:13 points to him is part of the one story that runs through all Scripture — meet Jesus at the heart of the web, or follow a trail that traces him from Genesis to Revelation.
