Quick answer
In sharp contrast to the beast's mark, John sees the Lamb on Mount Zion with the 144,000 bearing God's name. The redeemed belong wholly and safely to God.
Overview
Against the dark chapter 13, the scene shifts to the victorious Lamb standing on Mount Zion, the place of God's salvation, surrounded by his sealed people. The Father's name written on their foreheads is the divine counterpart to the beast's mark, marking ownership and protection. The 144,000, understood by many as the full company of the redeemed, stand secure with Christ.
