Quick answer

On the fifteenth day of the seventh month begins the seven-day Feast of Tents to Yahweh.

Overview

The Feast of Tabernacles ran for a week, recalling Israel's life in temporary shelters after the Exodus. It was a time of grateful celebration for God's care and harvest. Jesus taught at this feast and proclaimed Himself the source of living water, fulfilling its themes of God's provision (John 7:2, 37-38).

Christ at the center

Every sacrifice, every priest, and every day of atonement points beyond itself to the one perfect offering and the great High Priest who, by his own blood, makes the unclean holy once for all.

How Leviticus 23:34 points to him is part of the one story that runs through all Scripture — meet Jesus at the heart of the web, or follow a trail that traces him from Genesis to Revelation.
