Quick answer

They seize the city's flocks, herds, donkeys, and goods from town and field.

Overview

The brothers carry off the livestock and possessions of the slain, treating the slaughter as an occasion for spoil. This detail underscores that the attack was not merely defense of honor but plunder. The covetousness Hamor had stirred in his men recoils upon them as Jacob's sons take everything.
