Quick answer
The city measures eighteen thousand reeds around, and its name is "Yahweh is there." God's abiding presence is the climax and crown of the whole vision.
Overview
The book of Ezekiel, which opened with God's glory departing the temple, closes with the city named for his permanent presence among his people. This new name, "Yahweh Shammah," is the goal of all redemption: God dwelling with his people forever. It finds its ultimate fulfillment in Christ, Immanuel (God with us), and in the New Jerusalem, where God himself dwells with humanity (Revelation 21:3).
