Quick answer

Jerusalem sheds blood within herself and makes idols to defile herself, hastening her day of judgment. Violence and idolatry together bring her doom.

Overview

Two great sins are joined here: bloodshed against neighbors and idolatry against God, both defiling the city. By these she 'hastens' the appointed time of reckoning. The verse shows that injustice toward people and unfaithfulness toward God are intertwined and equally offensive to Him.
