Quick answer

Under the beast-judgment, even Noah, Daniel, and Job could not rescue their own children, only themselves. Guilt is not covered by another's goodness here.

Overview

God repeats with an oath ('as I live') that proxy righteousness cannot shield even one's family from deserved judgment. The three would survive, but the land stays desolate. This dismantles any false confidence in inherited or borrowed merit and presses the need for personal repentance, while pointing forward to the one Mediator who truly bears others' guilt.
