Quick answer
God made the stars, turns darkness to dawn, and commands the seas; Yahweh is his name. The Judge of injustice is the almighty Creator and Lord of all.
Overview
In another doxology, Amos exalts God as Maker of the constellations and ruler over day, night, and sea. This reminds the unjust that the One they offend governs the cosmos. His creative power guarantees his ability to judge and to save. The same sovereign Lord who orders creation also orders the moral universe, calling all to seek him and live.
