Quick answer

The servants kill Amnon as commanded, and the other king's sons flee on their mules in panic. Absalom's revenge is accomplished and the family is thrown into chaos.

Overview

Amnon's murder fulfills Absalom's two-year design and exacts a deadly price for the crime against Tamar. The terrified flight of the other brothers shows the fear and disorder unleashed in the royal house. The sword Nathan foretold now claims another of David's sons, deepening the tragedy of his family.
