Quick answer
Paul does proclaim a genuine wisdom, but only the mature grasp it, and it is not the passing wisdom of this age. The gospel is the deepest wisdom, though hidden from the world.
Overview
Having dismissed worldly wisdom, Paul clarifies that the gospel is true wisdom, recognized by the spiritually mature. This is not the wisdom of 'the rulers of this world,' whose power is fading away. God's wisdom in Christ far surpasses the perishing insight of the age, even if the world cannot see it.
