Quick answer
Solomon's line continued through Rehoboam, Abijah, Asa, and Jehoshaphat. It begins the royal succession of the kings of Judah.
Overview
The Chronicler now traces the throne from Solomon through the Davidic kings, the heart of the covenant promise that David's house would endure. Asa and Jehoshaphat were among the more faithful kings, while Rehoboam and Abijah were mixed. This royal line leads directly toward Christ, the promised Son of David who reigns forever (Matthew 1:7).
