Quick answer

David responds by blessing the LORD before the whole assembly, praising the God of Israel forever.

Overview

David's great prayer of praise begins by directing all attention to God, the true object and source of the day's generosity. Public, God-centered worship is the fitting climax to acts of devotion. This prayer, among the most exalted in Scripture, models how every gift and accomplishment should turn the heart upward in adoration, ascribing eternal blessing to the LORD.
