- Luke 14:7He spoke a parable to those who were invited, when he noticed how they chose the best seats, and said to them,
- Luke 14:23“The lord said to the servant, ‘Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.

- Luke 14:26“If anyone comes to me, and doesn’t disregard his own father, mother, wife, children, brothers, and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he can’t be my disciple.

- Luke 20:5They reasoned with themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ he will say, ‘Why didn’t you believe him?’
- Luke 20:9He began to tell the people this parable. “A man planted a vineyard, and rented it out to some farmers, and went into another country for a long time.
- Luke 20:10At the proper season, he sent a servant to the farmers to collect his share of the fruit of the vineyard. But the farmers beat him, and sent him away empty.

- Luke 20:23But he perceived their craftiness, and said to them, “Why do you test me?
- Luke 20:41He said to them, “Why do they say that the Christ is David’s son?

- Luke 22:56A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”
- Luke 22:70They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”
