Quick answer
The Lamb at the throne will shepherd them, lead them to living water, and God will wipe away every tear. Christ Himself becomes the tender Shepherd who gives His people eternal comfort and life.
Overview
In a beautiful paradox, the Lamb is also the Shepherd (echoing Psalm 23 and John 10), leading His flock to springs of living water. God wiping away every tear anticipates the new creation in 21:4, where sorrow ends forever. This closes the vision with a gospel promise of intimate, everlasting joy for all the redeemed.
