Quick answer

The rest are killed by the sword from the rider's mouth, and the birds are filled with their flesh. The opposing armies are completely defeated.

Overview

The followers of the beast fall not by conventional warfare but by the word of Christ, the sword from His mouth. The summoned birds feast on the slain, completing the grim supper of God. The total defeat of the nations confirms that no resistance can stand against the returning Lord, clearing the way for His reign.
