Quick answer

Justice will return to the righteous, and the upright in heart will follow it. God will set things right, vindicating those who are upright.

Overview

The psalmist trusts that the present perversion of justice is temporary; righteousness will be restored. When God acts, the upright will gladly walk in the justice He establishes. This anticipates the kingdom of Christ, in which righteousness fully dwells and the meek inherit the earth (2 Peter 3:13; Isaiah 9:7).

Christ at the center

The Psalms are Christ's own prayer book and a gallery of his portraits — the suffering one of Psalm 22, the risen Lord of Psalm 16, the priest-king of Psalm 110, the Son to whom the nations are given.

How Psalms 94:15 points to him is part of the one story that runs through all Scripture — meet Jesus at the heart of the web, or follow a trail that traces him from Genesis to Revelation.
