Overview
The psalmist intensifies the previous verse: he was 'thrown' upon God from the womb, belonging to him from the very beginning. This deep, lifelong covenant bond is the basis of his plea. Such complete entrustment to God anticipates Christ, who from birth to death committed himself wholly into the Father's hands (Luke 23:46).
