Overview
Almost immediately after the sea, Israel grumbled and acted impatiently (Exodus 15:24; 16:2-3). They failed to wait on God's guidance. The verse warns against the danger of forgetting God's past faithfulness and rushing ahead of His will, a temptation for every generation.
