Overview
The catalogue of remaining land continues northward toward Phoenician regions. These areas were never fully possessed, partly through Israel's later disobedience. The verse underlines that the fullness of the promise depended on continued faithfulness, a pattern fulfilled perfectly only in Christ, who secures the whole inheritance for His people.
