Overview
Despite the desire of some to seize Jesus, He remains untouched, echoing the earlier note that His hour had not yet come (v. 30). This recurring protection underscores God's sovereign control over the timing of Jesus' arrest and death. Jesus would be handed over only at the appointed time, in fulfillment of the Father's plan.
