Zophar foresees Job sleeping in safety with others courting his goodwill, a picture of restored peace and standing. Such blessings do echo God's covenant promises of rest and favor (Leviticus 26:6). Yet they are God's gift of grace, not the automatic payoff of human merit, and find their surest ground in the peace Christ gives (John 14:27).
