Quick answer
Isaiah models faith by waiting and hoping in the Lord even when God seems hidden.
Overview
Though God "hides his face" in judgment from unbelieving Jacob, Isaiah resolves to wait and look for him. This is the posture of trust in dark times: patient, expectant hope in God's eventual deliverance. Hebrews 2:13 places these words on the lips of Christ, who likewise trusted the Father, modeling faith for his people.
