Worn out by endless counsel, Babylon is mockingly told to let her astrologers and monthly prognosticators rescue her. Babylon was famed for astrology, yet these celebrated arts are helpless before Yahweh. The verse warns against trusting any human or occult wisdom in place of the living God.

Christ at the center
