Quick answer
The younger daughter likewise gets Lot drunk and lies with him. The shameful plan is carried out a second night.
Overview
Lot, once delivered from Sodom by grace, is again overcome, this time by his own daughters' deception and his drunkenness. The repeated emphasis that he 'didn't know' underscores both his impairment and the daughters' guilt. The fall of a righteous man rescued by mercy shows that deliverance from judgment does not guarantee freedom from sin's lingering effects, and points to the need for a greater salvation.
