Quick answer

The trumpet sounds and all is ready, but no one goes to battle, for God's wrath is on all. Human preparation cannot resist divine judgment.

Overview

Though the alarm is blown and forces mustered, courage fails and none march out, because God's wrath paralyzes them. The scene shows the futility of military readiness when the Lord Himself stands against a people. No strength of arms can prevail against God, teaching that true security is found only in being right with Him.
