Quick answer
The glory of Yahweh enters the temple by the east gate. God takes up residence in his restored house.
Overview
The glory of the Lord that had departed now enters the temple through the eastern gate, reversing the tragedy of Ezekiel 10-11. God's return to dwell among his people is the great promise of the vision realized. This indwelling of glory points forward to God dwelling with humanity in Christ and finally in the new creation, where his glory fills all (Revelation 21:3, 23).
