Quick answer
The gateway has latticed windows and palm-tree carvings throughout. Beauty and light adorn the entrance to God's house.
Overview
The lodges, posts, and arches have closed (latticed) windows, and palm trees are carved on the posts. Palms were also a feature of Solomon's temple, symbols associated with beauty, life, and rejoicing. These adornments show that God's dwelling is not merely functional but glorious, anticipating the beauty of the eternal dwelling of God with His people secured through Christ.
