Quick answer

Israel will know that the LORD their God is with them and that they are His people. The covenant relationship is fully restored.

Overview

This verse expresses the heart of the covenant: 'I will be your God, and you will be my people,' with the added assurance 'I am with you.' Knowing God's nearness is the goal of all His saving acts. It anticipates Immanuel, 'God with us' (Matt. 1:23), and the final promise that God will dwell with His people forever (Rev. 21:3).
