Quick answer

Moses inspected all the work, saw it was done as God commanded, and blessed the people. The completed sanctuary received his approval and blessing.

Overview

Moses examined every part and found it faithful to the divine pattern, then pronounced a blessing, much as God blessed His finished creation (Genesis 1:31; 2:3). The scene presents the tabernacle as a kind of new creation, a place for God to dwell among His people. Moses' blessing upon faithful, completed work foreshadows the joy of the Lord over His people's obedience accomplished in Christ.

Christ at the center

The Passover lamb whose blood turns away death, the exodus through the sea, the manna, the rock, and the tabernacle where God dwells with his people all foreshadow Jesus — our Passover, our redemption, the bread from heaven, and God-with-us in the flesh.
