Overview
Israel's confession, 'We have sinned,' was not matched by true obedience; instead of submitting to God's discipline, they presumed to seize the land in their own strength. It warns that genuine repentance submits to God rather than trying to undo consequences on our own terms, trusting instead in the mercy God provides in Christ.
