Quick answer

He pitches his royal tents between the sea and the glorious holy mountain, yet comes to his end with no one to help him. The proud oppressor falls suddenly and utterly.

Overview

Encamped near Jerusalem, the very seat of God's holy presence, the tyrant meets his end with none to aid him. His downfall, like that of every enemy of God, is certain and complete. This sudden ruin of the oppressor leads directly into chapter 12's promise of resurrection and deliverance, assuring God's people that beyond all persecution lies vindication, fully secured in Christ's triumph over every foe.
