Quick answer

The queen admits the reality exceeded the reports; the half had not been told her. It underscores that Solomon's wisdom surpassed even his great reputation.

Overview

Her initial skepticism gives way to amazement that the truth outstripped the rumors. This confession magnifies the abundance of wisdom God granted Solomon. It also foreshadows the gospel pattern where the reality of Christ surpasses all expectation.
