Quick answer

After the deliverance, many bring gifts to the Lord and to Hezekiah, who is exalted among the nations. God honors those who honor Him.

Overview

The surrounding nations recognize the Lord's power and bring tribute, and Hezekiah's reputation rises (cf. 1 Samuel 2:30). The Chronicler notes the gifts to Yahweh first, keeping worship central. This exaltation of a faithful king before the nations anticipates the worldwide honor due to the true King, Jesus, before whom every knee will bow.
