Quick answer

The Chronicler summarizes that Yahweh saved Hezekiah and Jerusalem from Sennacherib and all enemies, guiding them on every side. Salvation is credited wholly to God.

Overview

This verse interprets the deliverance theologically: it was the Lord who 'saved' and 'guided' His people, not their own arms. The language of being led 'on every side' recalls God's shepherding care (cf. Psalm 23). It reinforces the Chronicler's recurring theme that faithfulness brings divine protection, pointing ahead to the greater salvation God provides in Christ.
