A man from the tribe of Judah living before Israel's Monarchy, first mentioned at 1Ch.2.21) only referred to as Segub (שְׂגוּב); a son of Hezron and the daughter of Machir; half-brother of: Ram, Jerahmeel, Caleb and Ashhur; father of Jair.
