A man from the tribe of Judah(?) living at the time of Divided Monarchy, first mentioned at 1Ch.4.17) only referred to as Mered (מֶ֫רֶד); son of Ezrah; a brother of Jether, Epher and Jalon; husband of Bithiah(?) and Jehudijah(?); father of Miriam(?), Shammai(?), Ishbah(?), Jered(?), Heber(?) and Jekuthiel(?).
