Tetrarch Herod Antipas I living at the time of the New Testament, first mentioned at Mat.14.1) only referred to as Herod (Ἡρώδης); son of Herod 'the Great'; a brother of Ethnarch Herod Archelaus, Herod Philip I and Herod Philip II; husband of Herodias.
