PersonPeople from Hamath(?) of the Canaanites, first mentioned at Gen.10.18) only referred to as Hamathites (חֲמָתִי); descended from Canaan along with Sidon, Heth, Jebusites, Amorites, Girgashites, Hivites, Arkites, Sinites, Arvadites and Zemarites.
