Abijah

A king of Judah living at the time of Divided Monarchy, first mentioned at 1Ki.14.31) referred to as Abijah (אֲבִיָּה), or Abijah (אֲבִיָּ֫הוּ), or Abijam (אֲבִיָּם), or Abijah (Ἀβιά); son of Rehoboam and Maacah; a brother of Attai, Ziza and Shelomith; father of Asa; half-brother of: Jeush, Shemariah and Zaham.
