Infinity
God cannot be measured or contained; "heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you."
Overview
God is infinite — without limit or measure in his being and perfections. "Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable" (Ps 145:3); "heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you" (1 Kgs 8:27). He cannot be exhausted, mapped, or fully comprehended by finite minds.
This sets the right posture for every hard question: we are creatures trying to understand the Creator, and a God we could fully comprehend would be no bigger than our own minds — not worth worshiping. Infinity is humbling, but also inexhaustibly hopeful: there is always more of God to know, his mercies never run dry, his love has no floor or ceiling. We will spend eternity exploring him and never reach the edge.

But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens can’t contain you; how much less this house that I have built!
